//Supermarket Designfest//
trois jours juste avant Noel pour faire ses cadeaux, une bonne idée pour aider les jeunes artistes tchèques! ça va changer de ramener des Utopenec et de la bière en France.
J ai opté pour une tasse à café avec un beau motif bouleau, des White Fruits :
un livre de poèmes tchèque, écrit par Josef Kroutvor et mis en page par Martina Nováková, une jeune étudiante à VSTUP,
et quelques magnets photographiques réalisés par Blanka Svatošová :

//Tvrdohlaví po 20 letech//
In this exhibition, artists are also craftsmen. Were presented only czech artists. I falled in love with the work of Čestmír Suška. He is a sculptor and use metal as base of his work. Everything is recyclated, metal is coming from very huges and massiv contenairs. It was brut.

There is a new independant galerie in Prague : DOX
It is a new
contemporary building, very nice to walk inside, kind of labyrintic,
with a coffee and a shop, which is selling books, pieces of design and
others stuffs... They proposed for this first exhibition : WELCOME TO
CAPITALISM !
Here were exhibited José-Maria Cano,
with this resines paintings that present the symbols of the world of
finances and the inlfuences on our lives. Was also the amazing
installation of Matêj Krén with the huge wall of books.

//DesignBlok 08' Prague//
It's time to speak about this design week which took part in Prague in differents places in the city, but especially in Karlin, Holisovice and in the center. It's great time to meet people because they are accessibles. Like all salon, were very good works but also very terribles designs. From the czech artists i think the best for me were :
White fruits's porcelains // Pelcl's bed // Hanuš Lamr's jewellery // the wood tables from Kubista // Lucie Mares and Silondi's dogs and cats bags and the fun we had // koprbooks // the 2GD studio and their nice team ...

//23rd biennale d'arts graphiques de Brno//
En profitant des derniers jours de beaux temps qu'il nous reste avant d'entamer l'automne Praguois, j'en profite pour aller visiter l'importante biennale d'arts graphiques et la Villa Tugendhat de Brno. Cette biennale est présentée dans trois différents musées de la ville. Plein les yeux de graphic design, d'illustrations, de livres, de petites éditions... Personnellement, j'ai adoré de travail d'édition de Fumio Tachibana, la présentation des 600 éditions dans le musée des arts appliqués ainsi que le travail d'Abbott Miller présentée à la galerie Moraskà.

//Villa Tugendhat//
La Villa Tugendhat est une villa située à Brno (seconde plus grande ville de la République tchèque). Elle est considérée comme un chef d'œuvre de l'architecture fonctionnaliste de l'architecte allemand Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe et est classé au patrimoine mondial de l'Unesco. Surprenant et moderne, sans limites grâce à une perspective qui commence dans la maison et se termine vers l'extérieur, cette maison est un chef d'œuvre!

Film réalisé par Anton Corbijn qui retrace la vie de Ian Curtis, leader de Joy Division.
Tout s'enchaîne à merveille, la musique qui s'accroche aux images, c'est génialement triste et pessimiste.

La période praguoise commence, fin mars dans les cinémas passaient en salle les DAYS OF EUROPEAN FILM.
J'ai eu l'occasion d'aller voir deux films:
PRAGUE un film d'Ole Christian Madsen, réalisateur danois
YOU AM I un filme de Kristijonas Vildziunas, réalisateur lituanien
